Standards of Practice.

There are two important criteria when choosing a mortgage professional:

1. Confirm your mortgage professional is a member of CAMB, and
2. Confirm your mortgage professional is appropriately licensed by the
   California Department of Real Estate.

As of January 2007, it is against the law for an individual to erroneously claim to be a member of CAMB or have a license.
